In honor of Ralph Rojas and all of the brave men and women who
are recognized on Memorial Day and each day, I am proud to
announce this year's recipients of the Ralph Rojas Sparta VFW
Scholarship which I began through our Sparta VFW in 2017.
This year we were able to authorize five scholarships within the amount of $1,500 each. The funds for these scholarships are directly generated by the sale of Christmas trees in December. This year, we had another sell out event thanks to all of you.
The Scholarship recipients are:
Olivia Finkeldie - Sparta High School
Alex Foster - High Point Regional High School
Mary Cabassa - Mountain Lakes High School
Margaret Piwko - Pope John High School
Lawrence McKeon - Member, Sparta VFW
